My brother is a writer of depth and nuance. Yet he continues to associate with former hockey-players (now referees) that write like this. For shame.
My favorite is 'acceptionally' used for exceptionally. I only wish the writer would have then used 'excepting' for accepting in the sentence that follows.

Subject: Game Turn Backs
I would like all officials to take a few minutes and read this, Over the past 2 weeks everyone have been acceptionally well using the arbiter scheduling web site system. By accepting and declining games But, one concern has come up and that is there has been and increase on officials turning games back the day before they have games. This is getting really difficult for the assigners to try to reassign games when they only recieve an email from the official to be removed from the games due to an issue that has come up. So if the assigner is out of town due to work they don't get a chance to open there emails until late at night. Officials please remember if it is under 72 hours prior to your scheduled games you are required to find your own replacement to cover those games and to make sure that the official you have selected to work those games for you are capable to work those levels. Also, officials you need to make a phone call and speak directly to the asssigner not just leave them a voice mail. These are for those cases that are the day before games situation that you have to tuen back at the last minute. Otherwise, please be respectful and thoughtful on these issues.
One more officials please check the auto assign feature everyday becasue if officials turn back games that they can't do once there were assigned them. Those games go into the self assign mode and available for officials to pick up only the levels they are availble to work will appear on the self assign. thanks and please keep up the communications thing have been going really smooth. thanks again the assigners for Showcase Hockey.
